i dont know what your definition of ghetto is but okay...great job
its actually handle bar tape and its way more comfortable than the stock one or any other one that costs hundreds of dollars and the dash mat protects the dash board....

Congrats re your purchase. I don't know what the OP and others use, but I swear by what are now called Scotch All Weather Fastners (they used to be called 3M Dual Lock Fastners -- same product). package of 4 1"x3" Clear strips (2 sets). I used to get them at Radio Shack, but I don't see them at RadioShack.com. Target has them. Not available online, but in the stores. Their site shows that stores near me have them in stock, so it seems to be a popular item. The 'application example' on the front of the new packaging (the lone example) is an aftermarket GPS monitor mounted on a car dash. They don't lose their adhesive in SE Texas heat. I've been using them for over 10 years and I can't remember any of the strips ever failing.
