Had an Aooogah horn on a '67 Spitfire back in the 80s. That got some looks.

To tell you the truth, Canadians are so damn polite, I couldn't tell you what the type of horn you are looking to install actually sounds like.

I kept the stock horn and bought a low-tone (F note) Freeway Blaster from Advanced Auto Parts for less than $20. The 2 together are plenty loud and have a unique sound. The one that's a "snail" shaped is the one to get...as it's louder than the flat disc type.

Here's a pic ---> http://www.amazon.com/FIAMM-72112-Fr.../dp/B000DINKPQ

You are right .. we just use our finger.

But I did have to use my horn today . . stopped for a pedestrian (yes somedays I actually do that) on a downtown street and some ******* on his cell phone just about mowed her down as she was crossing. I had to honk at her to get her to stop crossing the street as it was obvious that he wasn't stopping.
I gave him the dirty look .. and the ole German "what the **** are you doing ?" salute. I still don't think he realized what he just about did.

My grandfather loved trains almost as much as he loved driving. The last two Lincolns that he had (one at a time) were fitted with aftermarket horns that were made to sound just like a Southern Pacific locomotive.
