yup..wheels and tires can make a huge difference that is for sure. When I moved back to 15" a couple years ago it was a drastic "upgrade" compared to being on the 18" I had been. Went from 52lbs per corner to near where you are. Will be interesting to see if your mpg does improve. I have made too many performance mods in between to tell in my case.
