Oh stuff!

I had a visit from someone from the town who wanted to install a new telemetric water meter in my basement so he wouldn't have to read it (No ones ever come in the house to read it)

I showed him where the wm was and that it was in a very confined spot within 6 inches of the 65 year old fuel line that goes to the 550 gallon underground tank that holds the fuel oil that heats our house.

Damage that fuel line and all that oils gonna leak into the basement and destroy the house.

For which he'd be responsible.

He appraised the situation and backed off.

But I sure hope he's not charging me $500 a year to read it!

I heard this on the news, but I didn't hear where in Northern California this will happen. After warnings (2 IIRC) about your excessive water usage, they will come in and replace a small part of some pipe that will restrict the volume of flow . Moonbeam . I'm amazed he got elected to a 3rd term as Governor 28 years after the end of his second term....and then got elected to a 4th term after that.
