Havnt had a ticket since 2000 (on the same motorcycle trip) on the UP of Michigan. Shot doing 75 in a 55. Five minutes before that I was going 105. And was doing that all day before something told me to slow down.

However because I pulled over immediately when the cop passed me and I saw his brake lights go on in my rearview, he wrote it down to 66 in a 55.

The deal in Michigan is cash on the spot or they impound the vehicle and take you to the judge. Fine was $85 and I had four twenties which the cop took.

My cousins husband in Minneapolis that night said I just paid for the cops fireworks that day. (it was July 2nd)
