Fog lights and HIDs wouldn't fall into the category of 'extra lighting' if the car came with normal halogens and no fogs right?

http://www.nonstoptuning.com/BRAILLE...Batteries.html 11lb and 15lb batteries are always in stock... the rest require a few days to order and ship out. Thanks again! |

The 15lb would provide you with some excellent weight reduction as well, and would provide that much more peace of mind. Either option would be a great fit for the Yaris. |

I have two questions. Would the 11 lb battery be strong enough to deal with cold weather? Like 20 - 30 degrees or so starts.
The second thing, would both braces you sell be enough for autocross, or would they be looking for something else?

I like the 15 lb better, the higher reserve just gives me peace of mind, like if I happen to sit there with my stereo on for a while.
The Braille tie-downs are fine for autocross, they have never mentioned anything about mine.

I am very interested in one of these batteries, but has anyone come up with a way to hold the hood rod in place yet??

Try a hood lift.

looks good, but i'd just rather not spend an extra $80 on that, when all i really want is a place to have the stock rod clip in..

Anyone who owns these batteries: how have they faired for use, reliability, and durability. I'm coming up to 4 years ownership and I'm wondering if I should buy one of these instead of a regular battery; for when mine eventually becomes unreliable. I was thinking of the 9.5lbs version. I see 11.5 being thrown around as the battery of choice, just wondering if 9.5 will be ok for an all-manual, all-stock-electric yaris. I'm in moderate climate, reaching 115f in summer down to freezing in the winter.
