When did you own the Firefly and the Swift? The plate series are far newer than the model years. Far newer.

I still have the Firefly, but that pic would have been around 03/04.
The Swift GT pic was about 09/10 and I sold in 2012 or so. |

Had to lookup the firefly. That's pretty sick.

Thanks.
This was another one of mine, and another victim of rust. The Suzukis were bad for that. 89 Firefly turbo - Canada only car. |

A few pics of my 84 Nissan 200sx (S12) The only year with an SRA. It had a CA20e with an exhaust leak and pretty much no power, but with the welded diff it was kind of fun.
I bought a KA24DE from a "friend" and it ended up being blown up. I got pissed off and sold the car with the blown KA mounted in the bay. Worst mistake ever.

These were cool lil cars. The turbo models were rare

Neither of them were rare in Canada.
In the early 2000's they were everywhere and even though they were very reliable, they otherwise didn't stand up well over time, and you could pick them a little rough around the edges for $500 or less. I paid $300 for the 87 car and have $1200 in it. It wasn't unusual that I would have a dozen at any given time back then. I'm hoping I don't do that with the Echo/Yaris |

I don't talk about it often because it was a very poor financial decision, and I only had it a few months, but I once owned a Mazda RX-8, back in 2005. Absolutely stunning car, even if, yes, technically underpowered (it was an early auto version too, even worse), but so smooth, and such attention to detail in the design...
