I loved my 2007 Yaris but time to move on. I'm excited to try those seating configuration with the magic seats. I think you can sleep in this thing. You can't say that about a Yari.. I got the manual, luna silver, 15 inch chrome factory wheels, floor mats and tinted windows. LET"S GO! First thing I would do is add a the rear sway bar.... And go from there. Slowly make more adjustments. |

I've seen 4 YouTube videos by 4 different people on how they configured their Yaris into a mini-camper. It can be done, for sure.

I slept in my blue 08 hatch for 3 days at a time while working in ottawa.
I had already ripped out the back seats and made a flat floor. I decided to remove the passenger seat and continue the flat floor up to the dash. Threw a small air mattress from dash to trunk on the passenger side. Because I have an air horn in the car, I hooked the air to the mattress with an air blower attachment. If i lost air overnight, I'd just lean over, hit the trigger on the air blower and inflate the mattress in 3 seconds. It was a decent setup considering I'm 6'1"

I get tall mode, long mode, refresh mode, utility mode.
It's like sleeping in a 5 star hotel. I kid, i kid. I never thought about sleeping in a Yari. But I am thinking about trying it out in a Jazz. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWisaza3luU I wonder what I can use tall mode for. I don't have a dog or a bike hmmm... |

For 3 days at a time while I pocketed my live out pay, I'd do it again.

Definitely the Jazz. Reliability in a different league compared to some of what Ford make these days.

Hmmm, Just got the Fit.
Verdict not bad. Didn't put a smile on me face like an old school 2007 Yaris did. Not getting that go cart experience. But it isn't too bad. You have to rev the tits out of this to get the most of it. On the motorway it's sitting at 3'5 grand rev is kinda loud. Maybe it's been awhile since i have driven small hatches. But the noise lol. Overall it's very refined, i guess. Probably sell it in a few years. |

The engine is strong for what it is but it revs to 3.5 at 70 miles/h at the motor way. Sounds like a sewing machine The gear box is notchy. I can't remember the Yaris being this notchy. I prefer the slide and glide in type. It's refine though. It's not a fidgety as the yaris. But future plans is to engine swap L15B7. I believe it's the same engine in the civic and CRV. |

Honestly I dont remember. My red car's speedo reads faster due to the Xd transmission and slightly smaller tires, and the blue car's speedo reads slower due to the oversized tires.

I Agree. May have to mt90 redline this because the gearbox is very notchy. |

I figured out how she likes to be shifted. It needs to be cupped and put into gears....
Anyway, this car is very refined. Rides the bumps so good. The engine likes to be revved out and it's kinda fun... It just needs better noise insulation and it's almost perfect daily.. |
