Yaris Wave?
Hey, my fellow Yarii owners, is there such a thing as a "Yaris Wave?"
I'm a Jeeper, and we have a "Jeep Wave." It would be cool if Yarii drivers would give each other a friendly wave the way that Jeep folks give each other waves. Tomster |

I wave to other Yarii, I also wave to other Jeeps as I also drive a Wrangler (05 LJ). The problem is waving at Jeeps when I am driving the Yaris, and Yarii when I am driving the Jeep!
So, basically I wave to everyone! Very Texan... Cheers! M2 |

No official style, really, we just be sure to give a friendly wave to other Jeeps that we meet on the road. It really bothers me if I am daydreaming and don't realize in time that I am meeting a Jeep and being given a Jeep wave when I am out and about in my Jeep.
It's mostly a Jeep Wrangler thing, but Wrangler owners sometimes wave at Cherokees, too. Tomster |

I always wave at Yarii. I used to wave at Jeeps, too, when I borrowed my kid's high-rise Wrangler. Nice toy as long as i didn't have to feed it gas.

I've riden bikes for over 40 years and we all wave, well Harley riders wave to each other and everyone else waves to everyone. Left arm extended low and the peace sign. That would be kind of hard to duplicate in the Yaris

It would be almost impossible to wave fast enough up here in Montreal as the Yaris is an extremely popular car, probably due to the fact that we pay the highest price for gas in North America $1 a liter today.Looking out my front door at the 25 cars parked on the street at least 7 of them are Yaris and i also count 3 Echo's.

Well, Guys and Gals, the "peace sign" looks like a "Y," so maybe the peace sign could become the official "Yaris Wave?"

I'm starting to see 2-3 Yarisisisisisis a day now on my way back and forth to work. I just have to get over the weirdness of waving at another driver. I've only done that when yielding to another driver like at a stop sign or on a narrow road to pass or something.

If you flash your lights, they might think there is a cop nearby.
