GEEZ In november 2011, i purchased a 2 door (hatchback makes 3) most basic 2012 manual transmission YARIS... ASSUMING there would be no issue to outfit with kayak carrier. I have a thule lock down BIKE carrier that transferred over from my previous vehicle..a honda civic...to the hatchback with no problems...attaches to hatchback... and i put it on and take it off as needed when i transport the bicycle.
i do not want a bike mount on top of car. BUT, i need a secure way to mount the kayak on top of the 2 door. DO not want to drill holes...as i probably will not be keeping this vehicle until it dies and need to think resale down the road. any suggestions. ? i want to sell the honda civic outright...but, have not done so...because i have no way to transport the kayak without it. Brilliant suggestions welcomed....as obviously, brain freeze prevented brilliant light bulbs going off in kayak direction when i was vehicle shopping growl growl thanks |
