I am actually scared to try the VSC to ground. I am reading a lot about toyota VSC and there is a risk of losing the zero calibration if the unit.


If I try the euro pin 30 ground, what does the owners manual state about how and when can this VSC off switch be used ? while stopped ? in motion ? engine off or on ? and does it need to be zeroed after use ?

I don't want to possibly mess up the VSC and have it spin me into a tree if I really
need to use it, and it thinks I am 45 degrees from reality....

I have the VSC docs from techinfo. Here's some of the info on the switch

VSC OFF switch - Pressing this switch turns off traction control and pressing and holding this switch turns off traction and VSC controls.


A30-30 (CSW) - Body ground (VSC OFF switch input)
VSC OFF switch held ON - Below 25 Ω
VSC OFF switch OFF (Not pressed) - 10 kΩ or higher
