On the other hand, I've heard from some people that didn't need to swap the chip at all (1zz chip on 1zz TB). I have a theory that the issue is directly related to the TB serial number, but I can't say for sure. I tried compiling a list of serials a few months ago, but it didn't catch on.

With your 1NZ chip on the 1ZZ TB, did you experience any jerking (around 1300rpm) while you were driving?
Did you adjust your idling screw? How many turns did you adjust? Anti-clockwise?
