Front left headlight out

Also, I've noticed now for the last few days that when I let off the brake, I'm always hearing a noise now (not sure how to better describe the noise).

But it never never when I first depress it, just when i let off it each time.

Anyone wanna make some guesses?


I guess I'll be swinging by the dealership to inquire abt these matters at some point next week.

Don't know on the headlight issue. I think it will be cheaper if you bought bulbs and did yourself.

As far as the breaks. Is it a "squeak" or a "grind". Does it pull to any direction? Does lean forward as you apply the breaks? Does the break pedal feel spongy, loose, or hard? We'll need more info.

Its def more of a "squeak"... and no pulling... just the squeak as i let off the break.

Pedal dont seem any different that usual... the squeak/noise is all that's charged as far as i can tell.

Could it be something like rust causes the noise maybe? hmm?

Well here's an update, and an interesting one, I think -- I have no idea what it means though.

So I just discovered while I was out that the squeaking noise does NOT happen if I have parking brake engaged! Huh...

I tried this a couple times to make sure I wasn't going crazy (lol)

So yea, if I have the parking brake is pulled up, there is no squeaking noise when i push on and off my breaks. Wierd...

Does this give anyone any insight maybe?

Sorry could you (or someone else) please explain the meaning of that to me in more layman terms? (sounds quite bad though)

And what's the significance? Get repaired ASAP bc my yaris may not stop the next time I need it too at a light or stop sign?
