Any Apple fans?

Morgan, I think you're right about Apple computers, iphones, iPods being made in China (or similar) or made with parts manufactured in China (or similar) and assembled some place else, just like other computers.

if it makes you feel better, my first 2 iPods were defective, just like your 2 iPhones.
A bad batch probably. I can't blame Apple, though. Same thing happens in the PC world. One year, we had to change all the motherboards on the DELL workstations (bad capacitors on all of them, a known defect at DELL since they automatically extended warranties on the motherboards because of that problem). Another year, they recalled the power supply cords of the laptops.

I am still replacing capacitors from that... grrr... on customers computers
also effected from that massive bad batch of caps were several models of gateway and some OEM boards.
