I hate having to see these kinds of threads. At least you're okay.

YARISTEVE , this was over 7 years ago . The car is history . It was the other drivers fault . They were only $40 . No big deal .

Awww man, I'm sorry to hear that!!
You were one of the very first forum members to say hello to me when I joined YW and offer your help. Gonna miss you! Glad that you're OK and that the Yaris did its job. Sorry for your loss, though. That's gotta suck big time. Hondas are great cars. That's what I've been driving for 20 years before I got my Yaris. You're gonna be fine. (oh, you just posted that picture, right when I was posting. Yeah, those are fine cars Don't be a stranger! |

Wow, I'm really surprised you remember that. I remember you asking me something about a short shifter . I'll stop by every once in a while. I'm on Hondatech now. I'll stop by to chow the progress on the Civic

That is freaking intense! I just got into a pretty bad accident myself. Some bitch in a HONDA, had a green yield light..at this 4 way light intersection..she hesitated..looked down, was most likely texting..and while I'm going 50mph..I said OH SHIT, braked and slid into a nice T-Bone...did a 90 degree angle..landed right in front of a nice Lexus that these old Asian couple were in..airbags went off and everything..fucked my entire front end up..I'll have to get some pictures up. But I'm okay..just chest bruises and a long neck burn from the seat belt!
& Another one bites the dust...!

Hey guys, I saw this thread was brought back. So i figured I'd let you let you guys see my progress so far. It's been a lot of trips to the junkyard piecing the inmterior together. But I can finally say the interior is 90% complete. As far as the exterior, it's staying pretty much stock. The car was repainted back in July. It's a huge improvement over what it was. I get the thumbs up from Honda guys all the time. It shows really well. Still pretty much stock but still looks a lot better than what it did when I picked it up back in Feb. Next would be suspension and engine swap.

I was thinking of some 16x7 RPF1's, with 205/45/16. I'm on here here a lot just lurking though

Love those wheels, so light and clean looking for the price.. its just so over-done now. seems everyone has these wheels at autocross/track events in every size available. But they do look so sweet..
If your going 16", I recommend either Hankook RS-3 225/50/16 OR (my fav look) Falken Azenis RT-615K in the same size. for alot of meat and traction for that gsr swap in the future. |
