lol, well I'm working my way towards FFL01 then later SOT02 :)

I've been debating whether or not it's worth buying another barrel for my PPS to have extended/threaded so I could have some more James Bond-esque weaponry :P

I really like the Hi-Point 9mm, it shoots *really* well and I love it, I just wish it was smaller so I could carry it around ... but it's just too big

Actually, the person who did the shooting demo with that Barrett M107 was a young lady as well...

But it is a handful to lug around!

I love shooting .50, just wish I could do it more without having to take out a loan lol. $5+ per bullet gets expensive QUICK!

I'm pretty sure open carry is legal in TN, you should get a DE .50 and waltz around with that on your hip like a BAMF.

It is legal; this is what I want - this is his .40 with the laser grip; it's so damn sexy. More than I want to spend though, but I have to get over that at some point and realize a good pistol is going to actually cost me money. Not that the hi-point isn't a good pistol, because it is - again, it's just too big to carry.

I started off buying guns that were $50-200 and within 2 years I had sold them all and moved up into the better stuff. IMO it's worth dropping $400-700 on something good than settling for something mediocre. I gave $600 for the PPS and have never felt a second's regret for doing so.

that is sexy, what is it? I need to get into a place where I can afford a good gun, and then afford the bribe I probably need to pay the local police chief for him to allow me to have a permit.

It's a Glock :) Loooooooooooooove it.

lol Why couldn't you just go pay for the permit? Everyone can own guns in the US, remember? Well, unless you're a felon or have domestic charges, etc ... but you know what I mean.

unfortunately in certain states while it is technically the law the reality is far different. In MA the local police chief gets to decide who he gives a gun permit too. Some police chiefs choose to give none, others too only certain people, others to only people who bribe them enough, etc. That is what happens when corruption is the rule and not the exception.

More importantly for me though is I don't have the cash to buy a good gun, take the classes to learn how to take care of it and shoot it, and also buy the ammo at the moment.
