The IS350 has the 2GR which is inherently a pretty decent V6, but from what I've read it hasn't taken up interest as much as a BMW 3-series, Mazda RX-8, etc.. because enthusiasts really want a manual option. If you dig the slushbox then I gather it's a pretty fun ride. An alternative option if you want 2GR power is a V6 Camry - sounds silly, but can be found for less money and they pull surprisingly hard for a boring family sedan, lol. Apparently they're about a 6s 0-60 mph time, so a bit slower. and you are going FWD instead of RWD. I'd take the IS350 by preference too, but just throwing the option out there if it's a casual interest in something peppy for a family ride, but budget is a factor..

Thanks Adam. I didn't know that the Camry came with that engine. It's been eons since I've owned a rear wheel drive car. I think the combo of rear wheel drive and auto would be perfect.

I called the lexus dealer and found out that the car belonged to the service manager for the past 4 years. It was stored during winter while he owned it. Some lucky oerson is going to get a great ride!
