Got new rims for my sedan, 16" o.z. superturimo gts, paid 500 for the rims and tires used. I love them and the ride is great. I do plan on lowering it, but I want coilovers, so it will be awhile before I can afford it.

If you're curious enough, the specs should be stamped somewhere on the back of the rims :wink:

coilovers are an awesome choice, but personally with how good the price is for a set of springs from MI for example or picking up some used I would to remove the wheel gap...I know it drove me insane :bonk: on mine when I went with my LP tires n 17s.

I thought about it but aren't those hard on a stock suspension? I would rather just wait and save up and do it right.

As much as I like my TRD dampers, I think you should go with Tokico blues. I think they're cheaper, and have a firmer dampening level than the TRD's.

yea thats a common problem for me too. All the good spots are shut down, gated up, or guarded or the terrain is just not manageable by my car lol

some says, the sedans relatively more efficient in highway. Due to the lower CD. THe boot makes less turbulence.

But in urban condition, more weight cause it less efficient compare to hatchback.

I don't like either of those. I like the original wheels they are trying to replicate. The top ones are work cr Kai and the bottom are rays engineering volk te37. A better rep of the bottom would be varrstoens

If they were the real ones and they were in those styles, which would you prefer and what size?:iono:

Idk its hard to say. I like the work emotion cr kai in white low offset over the Volk te37, but I would pick the Varrstoens over the works or the volks.

The varrstoens come in 15 and 16x8 +15 iirc which I ran and wasnt 100% pleased with. They look ok but the 17s and up come in a steeper concave angle which I like and the spokes are less rounded which I like. However in 17 i think the smallest width is 17x9.5 +22 and they only come 5 lug so youd have to run a 1" adapter/spacer which would mean youd be running 17x9.5 ~-3 and thats freaking wild!

The works are like the varrstoens, its almost impossible to find them in 4x100 or any high enough offset to run adapters.

The Te37s come in 15x8 +35, 16x7 +40 and a variety of other sizes and they DO come in 4x100 so it takes the guesswork out of things. Unfortunately out of the 3 sets ive mentioned, the te37 are by far the most expensive tipping the scale at about 2500-3000 without tires.

True I did get it from eBay not to bad for the price is made of raw plastic material is not really flexible till u painted, front bumper might have a small gap not to noticeable but I'm satisfied with it the lip kit

no it is not a body kit. a body kit has full bumper replacement. a body kit has no separate lip parts. 2 bumpers and side skirts would constitute a genuine body kit. if you are referring to the ebay listing itself the seller is trying maximize search exposure to make sales.

I didnt. Those are optitron clusters available only locally. RHD and in amber for Thailand. They are also available for the Belta in a similar design (a bit bluish green though) but RHD and the mini screen is not a MID (only displays ODO, Trip A and Trip B).

Thank you. No i didnt get them from here, i had them imported as the ones locally available are mostly 6-speed. The same way i had a lock button imported from CTScott in the US.

I've taken more than one photo with different angles including the one you are talking about, but I chose this one since i like how candid the lady was picking up the gourd on the ground. I was going to crop it but meh I think this just look fine.

What I didn't really like is how yarisworld compresses the photo when uploaded.

The lady was picking dried gourd, they are not really interested with the fruit but the seed. They said that the boiled seed of the dried gourd will help cure diabetes. Not sure about it though. :biggrin:

I've extended my knowledge on the wiring of the dome light to this DIY key ring light. If you're looking into doing something like this, the inner diameter should be around 36-38mm so it will fit over the ignition key cylinder.

But if you have a transponder chip in your key (which mean you have a black plastic around the standard iron key cylinders) then unfortunately i have no measurements for you.

Right, it looks and almost acts like a power antenna (if it's the retractable version).
I noticed it in a lot of cars from Japan, albeit on the left side (opposite their driver, same side as ours), and they would then have a switch on the console labelled "POLE" to control this 'power antenna' Civic VTEC enthusiasts/ricers know this. LOL

Little update on my sedan, I was able to get my hands on a full set of the Sportivo kit that is not available here in the US. Did some test fitting of the kit, but will need to find a good long weekend to work on it as body work isn't my thing but i'm down to learn. If all else fails, i'll find a body shop to install it.

As of right now, i'm pretty happy with how she sits. Thinking of doing a vinyl warp (thinking white or silver) in the near future and also looking for a trunk spoiler and possibly changing out headlights & taillights. Performance wise it handled great at autox so I don't think i'll be making any major adjustments. It is my daily car so I have to keep it somewhat functional for street use.
