Thanks Blk. Yaris. As i've mentioned before I inherited the car from my older bro. pretty much in the state it's in right now. I just decided to add the fog lamps and still planning on future add-ons. i don't have a lot of exp. in mod-ing cars so i hv to be careful, lol. he just bought a mazda3 gt and luckily i got his 'old' car, lol. ur 209 yaris looks good too. as for the ques. about the sun roof by the other members, i've no idea where my bro. had his installed. but i'm pretty sure it should be around the LA area.

Yuppers. They are a well known set, having been passed down and around the local autoX community. From the original to a natl's crx to a boosted miata, another crx, and now my car. Who knows how many sets of rubber and laps they've seen? I'll try and sell them to someone local before I leave so they can stay in the Texas family :)

When I was buying my Yaris, I told the salesman that I wasnt going to buy it unless he added foglights and a spoiler. (I spent two hours hustlin and dealin with him to get the best price and options...it was well worth it)
So....I was expecting to get just a factory lip spoiler but Toyota messed up and shipped the wrong spoiler to the dealership. At that point (after waiting close to 3 weeks) I was getting p-oed about waiting so long for the spoiler that they just decided to let me keep the Rally Spoiler.
So i LUCKED out! WOOHOO!!! :thumbup:

At that time, to buy the rally spoiler from the dealership was going to cost $300 or so. But I am sure you can find it much much cheaper. I have seen them on ebay for a little over $100 already painted and everything.

No H, my dealer said nothing about wheel alignment to me. Same price $514, so I doubt if they included it for free. I saw the pics of Echo's car, and ordered the kit right away. BTW the car tracks straight as an arrow, and corners like a go-cart ........ and I mean that is a good thing.

I imagine that if you had the dealer put in the kit they automatically alligned the front and rear. I have not alligned mine yet and even though it tracks straight as an arrow, each tire is going to wear faster on the inner portion of the tire untill I get it alligned. If you notice your tire tread getting lower on the inside faster than the rest of your tire I would take it back to the dealer and give them sh!t. for over 500$ they should have alligned it.

I noticed your floor mats. I went to Walmart for a couple of dollars and bought the thin see thru plastic floormats and put them over my Yaris Floormats. The Yaris mats can be seen easily and the clear mats protect my mats and its easy to shake them out when they get sandy...plus I made two holes so the plastic mats hook on with the Factory mats and are secured...Love my Yaris....Installed a GPS that is hidden in the right glove box, and a backup camera and the scanner...Later will take some photos of the GPS hidden away

I didnt have an accident, I just change the color of my front bumper but I cannot find the little round plastic thing..!

I lost it when i moved i think... well, i'll have to buy another one soon because with the winter, theres a little bit of rust inside the hole...!

How much would the body work set one back? Is there any repainting needed after the pulling of the fenders? I love, loove, looooove your set up!

I vowed not to drop a penny on the Y until I get my fd running again, but I hit a possum on the freeway - ripping my lip clean off =(. I would love to spice things up a lil, should I decide to replace the lip.

If I got everything correct, Deadcrow turned it out of a solid aluminum block on a lathe. He measured it out, designed it, and machined it all himself.

This model has VSC/TRC and ABS and because of the VSC/TRC-Package it got rear disc brakes. To improve mileage they implemented a Stop & Start system which switches the engine off in some situations. Of course if you dont like you can switch this system off.

I like what you did with the rim lips, how did you do that? I saw another member ride that was similar too

They are just trim rings that clip right on like hub caps.

You can get them in stainless steel from the Internet or just buy them at autozone but they're plastic.

They're a nice ( hopefully temporary) solution to not being able to afford rims

I rocked them for awhile, got more compliments on the street with them than any other wheel I've had on my car. :laugh:

I bought my Yaris back in 2007, but I am new to these forums. Here is a pic of my Black Sand Pearl 2007 Yaris Hatchback. It's still pretty stock, but I plan to add some allow wheels and tint soon. :)
