Hey guys and gals,
New to the forum but not to the Yaris.

Bought brand spankers in 07 with 50km on the clock, and presently has 31000km.
It is known as the Bug
Have recently started modding it after needing new tyres, which ended up with it getting rims also.

The wheels are Enkei SC24 shod with 205 Maxxis rubber.

Plan is to lower it and put a Toyota Bodt Enhancement Kit on and thats it for the exterior.
Interior is gonna look stock, just new HU and rest of the audio in stock locations, as its the family runabout.

ssr viena krais 15x7+32 205/50 falken 912 all around. IMO is the perfect size offset for this car. Got a bunch of parts to install but too busy and lazy at the same time :drinking:

I Got her last year and finally found a site to just talk/get help, Still on steelies, but I painted the stock hubcaps a dark black to match the cars dark color. Rims are gonna be my next purchase!

Heya

Traded my V70 for a Yaris about a month ago. Im very happy with the experience so far, the car is very nimble compared to the station wagon. Not gonna do anything crazy with it as its my commuter car, but its fun to upgrade bits and pieces.

I know, the car is dead dirty, but i just got some 18" rims i wanted to show off :biggrin: . Gonna give it a good wash when the storm has passed...

Rims are Mille Miglia 18"/7,5"(i think), ET 45. Wheels are Regal 225/40, which i know are too large but seem to work ok (slightly wider turn radius but otherwise no rubbing). Probably gonna go with 215/35 when i've used up these ones. Springs are stock and gonna stay that way as i sometimes go trekking...

Window tint incoming next week and i've ordered a sharkfin radio antenna. Future projects include painting brakes/getting new ones (although they have to fit my 15" winter rims), tinting head/tail lights, getting a spoiler and then theres the whole sound system... But as they say in Game of Thrones "Winter is coming..."

All in all another happy new Yaris owner here :thumbup:

hi guys this is my yaris ts 1.8 '07....I repainted the whole .... the first was black with those white wheels though .... I decided to let the color of the Lamborghini ... I hope you like it ... I also mounted the exhaust like Japan style .... WoWoWo :-)

Bought an RS rear wing for the wifes Yaris yesterday, she's been bugging me to find one and buy it for ages.
This will be one of the very few Yaris's in Australia with this wing I reckon, seeing as it's not available through our dealerships because the RS was never sold here.

The hardest part is taking the first step with any project. This one is pretty well laid out especially with so many DIY's on here and over at microimageonline.com. Seriously don't doubt that you can't do it. :thumbsup:

I hate how my opinion keeps swaying about this new model! In this picture it looks soooo sick! It almost rivals the new chevy sonic.... almost....

So far I only have a window tint coming. It's a speedy little thing in town, not a Corolla GTS (my last Toyota) but not bad at all for a car that is capable of getting 40 MPG.

agreed, I've had tiny hatchbacks before (metro, aspire, etc...) and while they got great gas mileage they were pathetically slow, especially the Aspire. In comparison this Yaris is faster than my buddy's 96 Civic (same power/torque, less weight) so I'm happy. Honestly even driving the Aspire I was still faster than 98% of traffic, people just drive slow. Hence why I've decided I don't need a 300hp sports car for heavy city traffic.

I've had the Yaris, or yPod, as I call it, for about a month. I LOVE IT!

Averaging about 37 mpg.

Just put on the black, 15" Konig Feathers.

Removed the badges today. YEAH!

Next step is taking off the front emblem, and painting the front and rear emblems black.

Window tinting is soon to follow. And then, perhaps, a little lowering.

Latest of my ride. I lowered it with Eibachs with just just 30 miles on it when I purchased the car new. Recently I've added Tein Basis coil overs and 15x7 RPF1's, ( 9.5lbs each) with 195/50/15 tires. I added the cruise, yellow fogs, tint, visors, Blue tooth, hitch for bikes, remote start and a HID's a long ago. I bought these Toyota roof racks from Aussie land and had them shipped. They're of awesome quality and 10 times the rack of the crap ones that come factory here. I will have custom CNC center caps for the wheels in the future.

I've also added a stalk for the wipers from a Prius. It has a 4 speed intermittent control for the front and it had a rear delay that did not work on the stalk due to not having a module like the Prius. I had Scott make a custom module to allow the rear to work on the stalk for delay AND it also has adjust ability which was added with a knob for adjust ability. I decided to take the module apart to locate my knob/switch in an OEM location. (see pic below)

I like to go the extra mile on things like this. The mil spec stuff is awesome and I plan to do bulk head connectors like I've done on my Supra as well. :) Thanks Scott for helping me out on the various things. I think my next thing may be the Super charger. It was nice chatting today. Thanks to Garm for helping out with some parts and info as well.,

I'm so excited!
Just placed an order with MicroImage for Tokico Blue Shocks/Struts, Ultra Racing Rear Sway Bar and H&R Sport Springs!!!!!

This will be my first time lowering a car, or doing any performance mods. Cannot wait!!!I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve! Will post pictures, obviously, as soon as they are installed!

For black i like: red (like you have which looks sick and matches the tails), white (my favorite), silver/mag, black, green (mainly takata), or gold/bronze.

Blue might look cool but that blue thats on the echo i think would look kinda ricey on the black.

This lip kit has no brand name. In Indonesia and thailand yaris has some type of yaris, they are type E, type J, type S and type S Limited. My Yaris is type S. The E & J type has lo lip kit like this. Okay I will give the picture of Yaris S Limited in Thailand :

So I'm new and figured to show my car out on the forum. Total stock, base model sedan.
Black Sand somethin is the color I forget but in a rough but simple description its a metallic black paint job. Has the metallic flakes in the paint that give it shine, not bad but would of preferred a solid gloss black.

I have plans for it cause I know its gonna be my daily driven car and the car in the back was my first car. (Mercury Cougar XR7 V8)...I LOVE V8's cause of the power and acceleration but this car is what alot of us need...Good gas mileage.
