But it looks like you are missing some lubrication both on the sliders and the pads were they shall move on the bracket.
Use ATE plastilube or a similar product, never copper grease it will destroy the rubber parts.

Thank you for clearing it up. I was really confused. Still confused tho. I mean why would they leave it open like that?

Now my other question is there are absolutely no products like ATE plastilube or silicone/rubber grease where I live. All I can find are Lithium Grease and Lithium Calcium Grease (made by Total). Is it okay if I use them? What are my alternatives (I have read about people using Vaseline :D )
