Unfortunetly (& sadly), the U.S. is the land of abundant muffin-tops driving their SUV/Crossover vehicles & Trucks. You can get a nice gently used Benz for 30-40k. I actually seen a low mileage 2008 s550 amg for 32k yesterday. And I'll even bet at 8400 lbs, it's faster.

It may be faster, but who wants an overpriced vehicle you can’t service yourself with terrible resale and reliability record?
