nothing but problem files on my desk.. then i leave to head home & the water is up to the curb outside the work driveway.. i say a hail mary i make it across the puddle.. travel like 10 blocks just to get gas cuz i didnt want to get stuck on the 405 in a torrential downpour AND out of gas.. took me twice as long to get home as normal.. got home at 7pm.. less than 10 mph for 15 miles, several accidents and fwy cut from 5 to 2 lanes due to flooding.. once i hit the long beach airport.. all was fine, went 80 rest of way.. glad to be home, relaxing in bed.. :biggrin:

Not too bad. My dad is a dealer for AMSOIL so I get it wholesale without markups, and it cost me $50 to change mine with fully synthetic myself. Also includes a high-mileage (10,000 mile) filter too.

Only thing about the chain oil-change places is that they only go for speed usually, so they end up stripping the bolts.

Doing it yourself is so easy and you know it's done right. :thumbsup:

I'm waiting for the next wave of hail between the size of golf ball-baseball to come through. My poor Yaris copped a pounding. I can't tell if I have roof dints as it's still wet and raining, but from what I saw I would say 80% chance I'll have roof hail damage.

The noise the hail made off the roof of the house was like bullets ricocheting off metal, ping ping ping bang. :eyebulge:

I now have a broken right hand side tail light. :( There is nowhere I can move my car to make it safe as we've been warned on the radio more severe weather is coming and to stay put.
