Matt asked if I wanted to go...but you all are so..umm..young. LOL

I might feel a bit out of place. However, when I met up with Matt for that carshow in Appleton, he, and Ryan and Tristan were so nice, I didn't feel that way at all.

I dunno..we'll have to see how the weather is.

Oh come on. Don't let that stop you. Even if you have to ride with him, we all know what a Yaris looks like.

They just called and said she (my dog) was out of surgery. =) After, they went ahead and cleaned her teeth and got a good bill of health as well. I had them send the mass of to have it tested for cancer just to be safe and so they can give the new vet's some practice. You never know, it might just help them find something new. I can pick her up at four as they just gave her some morphine for the pain. Thanks for the support guys, she my number one baby for 11 years. If anyone is ever looking for a good dog with a great track record, Beagles are a great choice. Only drawback is they will eat until they explode if given the chance, lol.

My family has been taking our pets to the same vets forever. There's always someone that is new and remarks to us, "Ohhhh, you're the ones." Of course we respond by, "Yep, we are." What is it you might ask? We name our dogs with names that would not be considered the most normal of names. Even the AKC frowned when we registered the last time. With names like Booger Marie and Stinky Butt, you tend to get those laughs and frowns from people. We don't care, it's all about the personality of the puppy really

Yeah, I figured that I can get half of my shopping done by visiting Home Depot and Lowe's.

GF wanted a real Loius Vuitton handbag but is willing to wait for a collection of replicas if they look really good. The hard part of shopping for that sort of stuff online is that I do NOT wnat to give out credit card info to those people and they will not take PayPal. I may have to open one of those prepaid credit card accounts before I purchase replica stuff.

33OH
12-23-2008, 03:55 PM
Ah yeah that is scary. And a very good idea to open the prepaid card.

Although, if they screw you on just not sending the goods, then you're still out of luck.

Finished wrapping last night unless my friend finds the purse for my older daughter. She's a distributor and is getting new ones this morning. Otherwise I am done.

Now just waiting to wrap up the cooking. mac and cheese and cranberry orange jello from me. My daughter made some kind of pie out of pumkin spice jello pudding and cool whip and carmelized pecans. Then to my mom's around 5:00 pm. She's in charge of turkey, ham, dressing, gravy and her coconut manadarin orange cake. My grandmother usually brings potato salad and cabbage (or something green). My sister-in-law will bring broccoli casserole and sweet potoato casserole. I am sure there will be other stuff, too. We always have too much food. Then about 8:00 we open presents. When the kids were small that freed up Christmas morning for Santa.

Christmas Day Lunch time we are going to my husband's parents (about an hour drive). Then that night the kids go have dinner with their dad and hubbie and I relax. I'll be on YW and he'll be killing monsters on WOW or Diablo.

Have a great holiday everyone.

I've been a good boy this year. For Christmas, I'd like four Kuhmo ECSTA V710 tires.

My brother was good to me this year. Please bring him four SSR Type C wheels in 15x6.5, 4/100, +43 offset, in bronze.

I know he can't use them on his Ford pickup so he may have to give them to me.

Today is Boxing Day and it's like your black friday sales. We just bought a 6.4kw Split system Air Con for $157. That is way cheap, i was going to buy two and sell the second one on eBay for profit but one box weighs 66kg and i had real trouble getting it in the Yaris. After some re arranging it fit.

It will cost us more to have the Air con installed than it did to buy

We also got some Christmas lights at 60% off and other christmas decos and wrapping for next year.

Actually, it was like 40 today and tomorrow it's supposed to be 50 and it's going to rain, like 2+ inches. Which, in the winter here is bad...the storm drains are all blocked by snow. (even with a couple of 40+ degree days, we still have a lot of it since there was 30 inches on the ground)

So, it's going to be a big mess and then we're getting more snow on Sunday. We just can't win..lol

I got the oil changed in the car today and was going to wash it but reminded myself what a waste of money that would have been.

How are you doing? Did you have a nice Christmas?

Ten Thoughts to Ponder

Number 10
Life is sexually transmitted.

Number 9
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

Number 8
Men have two emotions:
Hungry and Horny. If you see him without an erection, make him a sandwich.

Number 7
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day ; teach a person to use the internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Number 6
Some people are like a Slinky .... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

Number 5
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.

Number 4
All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Number 3
Why does a slight tax increase cost you $200.00 and a substantial tax cut saves you $30.00?

Number 2
In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

And The Number 1 Thought For 2008 :
We know exactly where one cow with mad-cow-disease is located among millions and millions of cows in the E.E.C. we haven't got a clue as to where millions of illegal immigrants and terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Ministry for Agriculture in charge of Immigration?

Just thinkin about these random questions.....

-What's another word for thesaurus?

-If you ask someone if they're a compulsive liar and they answer yes, should you believe them?

-What happens if you get scared half to death twice?

-Why is it that when something is sent in a car, it's called a shipment, yet when it's sent in a ship, it's called cargo?

-If a person with multiple personalities threatens suicide, is that a hostage situation?

-Why is it that if someone tells you that there are a billion stars in the universe, you will believe him, but if someone tells you a wall has wet paint on it you will have to touch it to be sure?

Just got back from shopping for tires. I wish I had picked a cheaper hobby...like knitting. The local Joann's is going out of business. I could get a whole lot of knitting supplies for cheap if I knitted.

Ohhh.. Are they really? Which Joann's is that?
I've been knitting a lot this past weeks so that would be really helpful

Joann Fabrics headquarters is in my hometown. That isn't good.

I'm still bored. I'm going to grab the sports page and poop. I don't know which stinks worse... my poops or the teams in a Cleveland sports page.

It depends, do you have to turn on the fan when you read the local sports page?

During football season, yes.
