Listening to Lada Gaga. It makes me feel like I'm at a strip club.
Minus the soulless naked women.
Badge ordered, wheeee.
Now I just need to figure out how to get that front emblem off. According to the DIYs, it should be easy.
Ahoy, SD. How's your Friday? Got any plans for Bambo?

what's the range on these cars?
The roadster is 244 miles on a charge. Unfortunately, it has a long recharge time from flat. 16 hours, I believe.
Edit: Sorry, it's about 3.5 hours using the Tesla Motors High Power Connector.

I need to share my excitement and don't want to spam the forum with a new thread!
Right now I am sitting around excited bc I just got a letter from the secretary of state that my request for Y SO SRS plates is approved and I just sent out my payment!!! Soooo excited.. can't believe they weren't taken. I've been checking up on that phrase on their online site for months, but their online registration never worked for me. Sent out a paper request last week and just got my letter today. I don't think I would have bothered with personal plates if I had to stick in a random number at the end... so I am over joyed I get that exact phrase with no numbers/alterations... oh and if you don't get why this is so awesome... its "Why so serious?" one of Joker's lines from the Dark Knight.
btw.... I could care less if someone takes the effort to stalk me with my plate being available haha. I know people block them out in pics and such, but well, I've tried looking up a plate number before and its not free and takes effort haha- if you want to stalk me with my plate being available just PM me instead rofl.

I'm still LMAO that someone from work just told me "You're George McFly! :)"
And god, thinking about how I act by coworkers and strangers, its sooo true...
And is it really sad that I actually love that comparison? (<3 Crispin Glover & geeks)
Oh and if you have no idea who any of those names are... fail! I've seen enough refs to the flux capacitor on this forum that I think someone will get it ;)

I'd love to have a drill press. I'm making a new camera mount too. Mine is like putting a camera at the end of a diving board and having people jumping on the board at the same time.

George is cute, but not a flattering look for Mr. Crispin Glover.
He looks better normal.. orrrr as Willard.. omfg, Willard is teh sex.

He's doing a voice in the animated movie '9' with Elijah Wood and will also have a part in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (which is going to be full of brilliant actors like Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, & Christopher Lee..)

I follow this show where a chef, Anthony Bourdain, travels all over the world to eat local food. The last show I saw was when he went to the Filipines.

I used a small screwdriver (think computer repair screwdriver), and wrapped it in a microfiber towel, and it pops right out. Just gotta be careful to not pry too hard and break the clips. And don't scratch your paint! I pryed along the bottom just in case too, so if I damaged the paint it'd be below the badge and not as noticeable.
Morning everyone. I have been busy catching up on some comedy shows and thought I would drop in and and say hello! :]

A few months ago I was at a gas station and this old guy started talking in a really loud voice to a Harley owner/rider who was filling up behind me about how he was happy to see someone who "stayed true" and bought American made products.
Wow, he found out pretty quickly that he picked the wrong girlie to mess with. Since HD is one of our biggest customers I was able to tell the dude exactly where each and every flipping part of that bike came from, from the wheels produced in Australia to the speedometer from Japan. The only thing American about those bikes anymore is that they are ASSEMBLED here.
Neither one had much to say after I was finished. =)

We package parts to sell in the retail HD stores. We calibrate speedometers for those who are replacing or up-grading. Also, we ship complete bikes (in pieces, in crates) to Brazil. Where they are reassembled and sold.
We also export bike parts to China.
A little over an hour to go..
