The meeting went really well! Don Joseph Toyota/Scion will be hosting a Yarisworld meet this August in their brand new dealership building. We are hoping to get a lot of owners from this area there, and of course I am hoping that a lot of the members from our region will come out as well. It isn't going to be a drive up and sit there type of thing. We will have all the support of a major dealership... events, prizes, etc. I'm really excited about it!
They're sending a mass e-mail out today to all their Yaris owners telling them about the site.
I might end up working there too. The people are really nice and they were surprised at how much I knew about the Yaris. They need a young, web-savvy Scion dork, so I'm dropping my resume.

And last night we got the chicken caesar salads and you couldn't even tell she ate any of it. But I think that's because we're still at that point where you can't just scarf stuff down in front of the other person. Because mine was barely touched too.

However, Don Joseph Toyota e-mailed me and set up a formal interview for Thursday. Looks like I might be back @ a Toyota dealership. I'm so excited!

is it pluggable? Running at a lower pressure is what is needed for driving in snow
Not sure. I haven't even looked at it. And it keeps going down to about 15psi and stops leaking then. Takes it about a week to do so.
Normally I'd take it to my dad's shop and have him look at it, but he just threw out his back.
KCALB SIRAY
01-09-2009, 05:40 PM
$40 bucks will get you a plug and then some at a Costco or somewhere. I have a nail inmy front right tire now that needs a plug. Same thing it will stop at about 15 psi. You run the risk of the tire shreading at higher speeds if you have a nail in it, so be careful
Yeah, maybe I should just stop being lazy and go put some soap on it to see where the leak is.

Yes, coffee guy. I wouldn't talk about your ex. I wasn't even on this forum then, except I remember your old screen name.

lol..yes..let's not talk about him...
Coffee guy...maybe....
I have a feeling, though, that being a chick that likes to watch Superhero movies and football makes a great buddy for a guy, but that's kinda where it stops. I dunno...we just had coffee and he DID clean off my car so maybe some of the true girl is showing through...but we get along too well.....I'm afraid that might be where it stays? Make sense?
Yeah, makes sense. I've tried with my best friend (who is a girl) and it was like that. Definitely didn't work, and now its just awkward.

But I'm talking it's like that for me a LOT. I've always had a lot of guys as friends, even as a kid...and I'm so not a tomboy......not sure..I just think guys are more interesting as friends than women are. Women will stab you in the back in a heartbeat...guys just dont do that. Not to friends.
I'm about the opposite. Don't get me wrong, I have guy friends. Just a lot of girl ones.
But I tend to hang out with the guy friends more. (because the girls' boyfriends get mad. hah.)

I don't really care about that kind of stuff. If someone wants to cheat on you, they're going to do it regardless. Let the girl have fun with someone other than yourself.

It seems you need all these days off with the traveling you're doing....
No, I get back into my routine pretty quickly. The big thing this weekend is Sunday's autocross. I'm taking two people who want their turn at driving. I finally get to use my camera mount to video the car going through the course. I have to remember to keep my language clean if one of us spins out.
How are you? So, who's Mr. Coffee? Does Juan Valdez know about him?

I'm not too bad, glad to be home after my day at work. I had more "stuff" handed to me that has nothing to do with technical writing...so it goes. It's better than being unemployed.
Mr. Coffee is a friend. He works with another friend of mine. He's nice, but if you read some of my other posts, I always seem to make a better buddy...and I must be doing something wrong. Maybe I should shush about the car, "guy" movies, and football in favor of shoes, shopping and gossip.

Micro Brews....
umm...small, sometimes in someone's home breweries. They make their own beer. It's a hobby for a lot of people around here! Some, like Spotted Cow are really good and are popular enough to become small businesses and get sold at bars, restaurants and in stores.
