Have you tried the glass of warm milk before bed thing? I know it sounds rediculous, but my middle daughter had trouble with insomnia when she was younger and that's just what the doctor told us to do and it helped. Years later, she still has a glass of warm milk before bed. It's so simple, but if it helps, why not?

At the dealership. Getting oil change and wheels installed on husband's blazing blue. Only 2400 miles on the car, but had it for 6 months so figured it's time. He doesn't drive much.

We have had the wheels for a while. Just hadn't taken the time to put them on. Believe it or not the dealership was cheaper and I can do the oil change at the same time.
TSW Kyalami 15" Hyperblack - I have seen them on another car on the Forum, but the car was a different color.

You could, they need painted anyways. And you're changing the tires, perfect time to do it.
SIPNGAS
02-18-2009, 03:26 PM
I probably would not do pink...
does anyone know how much it might cost for me to have a shop paint them so they look half-way decent? I'd have them do it when they're changing out the tires.
Trust me, I wouldn't spend any money on these particular rims, unless you're going to have them sandblast them too. The yellow powdercoat that is underneath the black has a few chips that you can see.
If you're for sure going to change the tires, I can paint them for you. Last time I sanded but didn't primer, this time I could primer so the paint will stick and not chip.
And don't get me wrong, they're a nice set of rims for the price.
But to have them powdercoated at a shop, you may as well buy brand new ones.
ChinoCharles
02-18-2009, 04:06 PM
Powdercoating costs about 40-50 bucks a wheel. Small price to pay for a custom look IMO.
I may be selling her my old rims, that aren't in the greatest shape, but are still decent rims. The rims+tires for $200 bucks. Powdercoating is not worth it on these.
I'm driving to Lorain tonight Charles. Got any plans? I could stop down w/ Sami and show you my new Ray's wheels. =D
SIPNGAS
02-18-2009, 04:14 PM

I know, I just want you to know what you're getting yourself into. They're not new wheels, but they are nice. I've never had anyone notice the knicks in them, but they are there.
Honestly, for $200, they're a steal, and a hell of a lot cooler than steelies.
Charles has seen them, I even pointed out the yellow paint showing through to him. You remember them Chuck?

OK, here's the pics. Not a good day for pics though. Been raining all day and now it's dreary and cloudy, but hopefully you can get the idea.
Wider tires next time for sure. These wheels are 6.5 and I used the stock 5.5 tires. Hated to waste them though.
DF210 install soon!

wise statement of the day- calling someone a tool is not a bad thing... a tool is USEFUL, someone who serves a positive purpose to help something be accomplished.... not to be mistaken for fool.. fools serve no true purpose besides the amusement to point and laugh at their misfortune...

Ooooooh boy! I am excited about this season of American Idol. They're some splendid singers this year. So hard to choose just one favorite. I really enjoyed Ricky Braddy from last nights performance. I have tonight's performance DVRed back at home.... Haven't seen it yet.

I haven't figured out how they are going to end up with twelve contestants. Tonight, they will pick three. I assume three will be picked next week to make six. I thought there were only three groups so the group will give up three more. Where do the last three come from?

But you're going to get an IOU for your tax check, don't complain, lol. Just kidding, I was reading more on it last night and it doesn't look good at all
somehow I ended up paying them taxes this year actually...
Anyway, maybe I won't leave but get an auditing career with them instead. This should be so much fun to disallow people of their wastefulness
